Molehead - The confluence of the three
rivers.
The triangular segment at the confluence of the Padma, Meghna and Dakatia rivers on the west side of the Chandpur Boro Station is known as the Molehead. The English word “Molehead” means a solid wall or embankment built of stone concrete to protect the ground from the impact of turbulent waves. It was built by the Bangladesh Water Development Board to protect the city of Chandpur from the cyclones and strong currents of the Padma-Meghna-Dakatiya Rivers. This beautiful place is the best natural recreation place in Chandpur. Chandpur is unique as an example of a city built at the confluence of three rivers.
How to get there:
Rickshaws, auto-rickshaws, or own vehicles can be going from the Shapath Chattar the heart of Chandpur district. Its distance from Shapath Chattar is only 1 / 1.5 Kilometer.
