Chandpur district is known as the home of Hilsa. Chandpur district covers an area of 1,740.6 km2, which is located in the Chittagong division with Eight Upazilas. There are roads, waterways, and railways in the Chandpur district. You can go and come back from Dhaka to Chandpur day by day.
Places of interest in Chandpur District –
1. Chandpur Boro Station - The confluence of the three rivers Padma, Meghna, and Dakatiya is also known as Molehead. Small and big floating boats at the estuary of the three rivers, the sound of the river flowing, and the view of the sunset will attract everyone and refresh the mind. This Chandpur Boro Station has the Raktadhara Memorial built in the memory of the martyrs during the great liberation war of 1971.
2. Ongikar Monument - The Ongikar Monument has been erected in memory of the martyrs of the great liberation war in 1971. The sculpture is located on a lake on the side of Muktijoddha Road in front of Hasan Ali Government High School. The Ongikar Monument was built in 1989.

3. Rangoal - Rangoal is located in the old market of Chandpur. There are beautiful riverbanks here, which are wonderful and captivating. Nowadays many people come to visit the Rangoal to enjoy the beauty of the river.

4. Lohagor Moth - The Lohagor Moth which is about 200 years old, is an ancient monument. The Lohagor Moth, a silent witness to the injustice and oppression of the then zamindars, has now become a visited place. Lohagor Moth is located one and a half kilometers away from Chandra Bazar in Faridganj Upazila of Chandpur district.

5. Rupsa Jomidar Bari - Rupsa Jomidar Bari is about 250 years old. It is located at Rupsa village in Faridganj Upazila of Chandpur district. The Jomidar Bari has three separate buildings. There are also pond ghat, green fields, tin houses, mosque and cemetery. The descendants of this manor house are still living in this house and the house is still almost the same as before.

6. Haziganj Grand Mosque - This historic mosque is located in Haziganj Bazar of Haziganj Upazila of Chandpur district. Ten thousand worshipers can pray together in this Grand Mosque of about 28,400 square feet. This mosque has a 121-foot-tall minaret and two domes.
The first founder of this mosque was Haji Ahmad Ali Patwari. Construction of the mosque started in 1931 and was completed in 1937. The mosque was inaugurated on Friday with the Azan of Jumu'ah.
